Harmless deliver an all age self harm support service with information, training and consultancy about self harm to individuals who self harm, their friends, families and professionals with a view to promoting health and recovery, reducing isolation and distress, and by increasing awareness and skill in intervention.

Harmless is a specialist self-harm provision offering two-tiers of intervention; stabilisation and a psychotherapeutic. Stabilisation involves practical and emotional support
offered by clinical support workers.  Psychotherapeutic is a person-centred psychotherapy delivered by a therapist.

Harmless offer a number of services including: Suicide Crisis Work, Self Harm Support Work, Self Harm Therapy Training, Drop – in and group facilities (see events calendar for dates), Crisis Café (see events calendar for dates) and Suicide Bereavement Work.

Their vision is to reduce the rate and severity of self harm in the UK, and promote health, hope and recovery of people who are in psychological distress and do, or are at risk of self harm.
